Collection: Zoe Mafham

South African artist Zoe Mafham creates original collages using salvaged newspaper, wrapping paper and envelopes. Creation starts from the center of the figure with no underlying design; to develop her works, Zoe Mafham lets herself be guided by the effect of the colors and the image that begins to form under her hands.

"I love the immediacy of collage, with its unpredictability and originality. A sheet of newspaper with its colors and figures can create effects that are even difficult to imagine; from there I start to give life to a landscape, an animal .... And everyone becomes something new and different from the others. "

Zoe Mafham has exhibited her work in South Africa and Great Britain.
