Regenerative Agriculture and UNESCO Heritage

Nestled in the Cape Floral Kingdom (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Boschendal is not limited to viticulture but leads the regenerative agriculture movement in South Africa.

• WWF Conservation Champion: for five consecutive years, the winery has been awarded for its commitment to biodiversity conservation.
• Integrated ecosystem: vineyards coexist with free-range Black Angus cattle farming and beekeeping, practices that naturally regenerate soil health without the use of chemical pesticides.

The Art of Specialisation: Three Teams, One Goal

Unlike many other realities, Boschendal entrusts production to three independent oenologist teams, each focused on a specific excellence:

• Authorial Whites and Reds: with a particular focus on Chardonnay and Shiraz, the estate's gems.
• Masters of Cap Classique: Boschendal was the second winery in South African history (after the pioneer Simonsig) to produce classic method sparkling wine (since 1981). Today, the team dedicated to the Cap Classique Method produces some of the most awarded bubbles on the continent.
