In this version of the Ultra Dollars, Cupydo reworks the symbol of hope and innocence: Banksy's Girl with Balloon. Working directly on the banknote, the artist performs an act of creative sedimentation, superimposing a message of freedom on the universal symbol of economic value. The dollar stops being currency and becomes a canvas full of energy and social critique.
The black of the frame that houses Cupydo's Ultra Dollar is not an industrial finish, but the result of a choice aimed at giving depth and character. Made of selected reclaimed wood, the frame carries scars, grain, and an ancient history.
