Homestead Shiraz 2022 - Bellingham

Located on the northern and western slopes surrounding the Paarl region, these vineyards benefit from eroded granite soils, renowned for growing high-quality Shiraz. Paarl enjoys long, hot summers.
similar to the Mediterranean ones, ideal for the maturation of varieties such as Shiraz, and which guarantee optimal development of flavour.

The grapes are harvested by hand in the first days of March.
They then undergo slow fermentation on the skins. This process is followed by gentle pumping over to extract rich color and flavor, while enhancing their depth. Malolactic fermentation then takes place and the wine ages in French oak for 12 months.
