The work

The frame
The frame is made from antique reclaimed wood from Cape Town.
The outer part, wide and textured, has a worn white finish, with visible grain and traces of the original wood. The narrower inner insert features a heavily distressed and chipped yellow finish.
The contrast between white and yellow creates a graphic frame that perfectly complements the photograph and reinforces its retro character.
