The Frame
The frame is made from antique wood reclaimed from Cape Town, finished in ochre yellow with an antique white insert. The surfaces are smooth, creating a visual harmony that does not distract from the image.
The wooden passe-partout protrudes from the frame — a conscious design element that creates a three-dimensional effect and invites the eye to move along the layers. The markings at the bottom highlight the natural grain of the wood, a detail that recalls the material authenticity of this work.
