"Stillness Feels Like Home" is a piece that breathes slowly. The reclaimed wood frame from Cape Town, with its large areas of peeling cream paint and the clean lines of the brown matting, creates a rare sense of three-dimensionality, like an open window into another season. The photograph of the stream captures the moment when the water stops flowing and becomes a mirror: the leaden sky, the brown shrubs, the absolute silence. The color palette, with its ochre, brown, gray, and cream tones, is a warm embrace. A unique wabi-sabi piece for those who find beauty in quiet days.

"Stillness Feels Like Home" has a gentle and enveloping presence. Its earthy palette and reflective subject make it surprisingly versatile: it works in almost any room, as long as the space has a human scale.

- Entrance / Hallway — it is perhaps its ideal place par excellence: welcoming those who arrive with an image of stillness is exactly what the title promises. It works beautifully hung or resting on a console.

- Living room — on a secondary wall, on a shelf or in a bookshelf: it does not seek attention, but whoever notices it cannot look away.

- Bedroom wall — its autumnal and contemplative mood promotes rest; ideal on a side wall or facing the bed.

- Study / home office — it accompanies thought well; it does not distract, it inspires.

- Dining room — the ochre and brown tones blend with the warm atmosphere of a set table; especially suited to spaces with natural wood or exposed stone.

- Hallway — its compact dimensions make it perfect for narrow walls or passageways.
