The frame
The frame is made from reclaimed antique wood from Cape Town, crafted with a distinctive etched and relief brushed texture. The dark tone of the naturalized wood is enriched with delicate sage green/worn marine veins, combined with a shaped internal white passe-partout that sharply frames the photograph. It is the essence of the Marine style: textured, authentic, and with a grainy but elegant maritime character.
