This South African Chardonnay has a thousand facets, thanks to its origin from vineyards located in different blocks of the property and thanks to the harvest carried out at different degrees of ripeness of the grapes. The result is a perfectly balanced Chardonnay in its elegant complexity, bold and graceful at the same time.

In the mouth it has notes of lemon biscuit and of very ripe oranges.

Pairings at the table: Ideal with dishes based on fish, molluscs and crustaceans, meatswhite e slightly seasoned cheeses. Great like appetizer.

I vigneti si trovano a 220mt sul livello del mare e godono di condizioniclimatiche molto favorevoli in quanto raggiunti dalle brezze atlantiche dalla False Bay e alla doppia esposizione ad est e a sud.
Suolo: granito decomposto e terriccio.
Età delle viti: 39 anni.

In the cellar

Dopo una pressatura soffice seguita da una decantazione a freddo per 2 giorni, il mosto viene fermentato in botti da 228l di secondo e terzo utilizzo e maturato in botte per 7 mesi con occasionali rotazioni
in botte.
Per accentuare il sapore fresco degli agrumi, il 38% di Chenin Blanc fermentato in acciaio viene aggiunto alla parte fermentata in botte.
