In the vineyard
In the vineyard
Grapes from the Western Cape, where decomposed granite, schist, and sandstone soils are found. The 2025 vintage benefited from good winter water reserves, vigorous growth, and steady ripening, with grapes harvested at full maturity and vibrant acidity.
In the cellar
In the cellar
The separate parcels were hand-harvested in the cool morning hours. The grapes were destemmed, crushed, and left in contact with the skins overnight, then pressed. After two days of settling, the batches fermented separately in stainless steel, and the wine remained on its lees for 2–3 months.
