In the vineyard

The South African wine Tiara represents the spearhead of Simonsig\'s red wines. The first Tiara was produced in 1990 and after being named best wine of the year in 1992 by The Wine of the Month Club, it has always been a South African wine of reference. In 2015 the harvest took place very early, after a mild winter and a dry and windy summer. The climatic conditions accelerated the ripening and guaranteed a healthy grape with rich and full-bodied berries. A production, that of 2015, of high quality and great satisfaction.

In the cellar

Maturation in French oak barrels for 17 months: 51% in new barrels, 25% second use, 24% others.
