Andile Dyalvane is one of South Africa's most important ceramic artists. Guided by a deep spiritual connection to his Xhosa ancestors, through his artwork Dyalvane seeks to honor his cultural traditions and share his journey.

Views From My Studio Collection is inspired by the ports of Woodstock and Cape Town, which extend right in front of the Dyalvane studio.

The trait of "Scarification" is always present in Dyalvane's work, a religious symbol of positivity used by the Xhosa ethnic group: the ceramic engraved with a soft line that reveals the interior of the material.
