The nose of Cabernet Sauvignon is immediately seductive with floral delicacy, cassis, and spicy aromas of Christmas cake.
The palate presents a mélange of berries with spices, tobacco leaf, and cedar. A layered and rich red wine, it offers the palate a sensation of strong structure softened by the extraordinary balance between oak and fruit.
Classic, refined, and gratifying, the wine is elegant, harmonious, and persistent.
Food pairings: Meat dishes, game, spicy dishes and mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: 18° C.
YIELD: 7 ton/ha.

The vineyards selected for Anthonij Rupert wines are chosen from vines planted in specific sites and with carefully selected soil types.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery in refrigerated vans.
In the cellar
In the cellar
In the cellar, the grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are selected by an optical sorter, capable of identifying only the best quality bunches, and then placed in French fermentation barrels.
The must is left to rest in the cold for a few days and then slowly brought to temperature. Fermentation occurs naturally in the barrels, followed by 5 days of maceration.
The wine then matures for 24 months in 60% new French oak barrels. After bottling the wine is finally aged in the bottle for another 24 months.
