In the vineyard
In the vineyard
The grapes come from selected Stellenbosch vineyards cultivated for low yields and maximum aromatic concentration. The blend consists predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, varieties that are matured separately to preserve their characteristics and contribute to the wine's final complexity.
In the cellar
In the cellar
The grapes were hand-picked and carefully selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. After a two-day cold maceration, each variety was vinified separately with calibrated pump-overs and punch-downs. Malolactic fermentation took place in barriques, followed by an initial eight-month aging period. After final blending, the wine matured for another twelve months in French oak, for a total of 20 months (65% new barrels, 20% second passage, and 15% third passage).
